Well Information

A water well pump is used in extracting water from a well.

They include different kinds of pumps, some Above Ground, most of them submersible pumps:

Shallow Well or Deep Well Jet Pumps.
Centrifugal or Screw type Impeller Pumps.
Submersible Deep Well Pumps.
Hand pump – Manually operated.

Water Well Tanks

Well Tanks are used as storage devices to create constant and level pressure in you water system.
These are some of the different types of well tanks used:

Hydro-pneumatic Standard – Air over Water
Bag – Air or Water cell
Diaphragm – Separator

The well pump and tank are traditionally very old products that have not changed much in over 50 years.
Recently there has been some new advances in designs, manufacturing and efficiency of well pumps and tank systems.
